Senior Performance Manager – WCA Clinical Operations

Location: Colindale
Salary: £65,000

We’re looking for an experienced and motivating leader to join our WCA Clinical Operations team as a Senior Performance Manager, based in Colindale. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a central role in driving performance, quality and exceptional service across our Assessment Centres and TA/VA hubs.

In this role, you'll guide and empower a team of Assessment Centre Managers—both onsite and remote—to deliver outstanding operational performance. Working closely with Clinical Practice Leads, Clinical Auditors and the Performance Director – WCA, you’ll help ensure we meet our volume, quality and people‑focused targets while fostering a culture rooted in continuous improvement.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

  • Strong leadership and direction across multiple sites to ensure high performance, quality and customer service outcomes.
  • Coaching, developing and retaining a high‑performing management team across clinical and non‑clinical areas.
  • Collaborative work with Clinical Recruitment, Capacity Planning and BSC partners to optimise resource allocation.
  • Consistent use of the HAAS Performance Excellence Framework, ensuring effective PDPs, observations and coaching.
  • Insightful performance reporting with clear improvement actions for senior leadership.
  • Contribution to strategic working groups and wider operational initiatives.
  • Effective management of escalated complaints while maintaining a calm and solution‑focused approach.
  • Promotion of best practice and the effective use of technology and data to drive smarter decision‑making.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous WCA experience is essential for this role, given its scope, complexity and the need for deep operational understanding.
  • Strong experience in a supervisory or management role with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence handling multiple priorities while maintaining quality and productivity.
  • Ability to build and maintain impactful relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing performance and engagement within teams.
  • (Desirable) Understanding of challenges faced by individuals with health conditions engaging in assessments, knowledge of HAAS, and an interest in Continuous Improvement training.

If you’re ready to step into a high‑impact role where you can shape performance, people and service delivery across WCA Clinical Operations, we’d love to hear from you.
